Eyes on the Water

A green frog floats at the surface with only its domed eyes and snout breaking the water, its face perfectly mirrored, framed by lily pads. Patient, watchful, and beautifully symmetrical. Fun fact: A frog's eyes sit on top of its head so it can lie almost fully submerged and still watch for prey and predators — and it can actually help swallow food by pulling its eyeballs down into its mouth to push the meal along.
