The Catch

A common kingfisher grips its branch with a small silver fish clamped in its bill, green water shimmering behind. A perfect freeze of the hunter with its prize. Fun fact: Kingfishers always swallow fish head-first so the fins and scales fold down smoothly — and they'll whack a wriggling catch against the perch several times to stun it before lining it up to eat.
